FAQs
I am having problems with a download or the sound/video, etc.. has problems once downloaded, what should I do?
First, DO NOT RE-PURCHASE or PURCHASE THE DVD WITHOUT TRYING TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. Second, we highly recommend downloading our videos with a downloading accelerator program - this speeds up your download and also allows you to restart your download if you are disconnected for any reason. Go to Download.com and search for one - they are very useful when downloading large files like ours. 99% of the time that a customer is having a problem it is because they had a bad download session which is out of our control, the other 1% is an compatibility issue with their computer which we can also not avoid. We test each video we put up on 2-3 computer prior to ensure they work. If you do have problems, immediately email us at administrator@ta77.net.
When I log in, I am sent directly to the video I bought but I want to buy a different video, what do I do?
This is an easy one - you can always access your member panel by going to this URL:
www.ta77.net/amember/member.php
How much do the videos cost?
$15.00 and up for downloads that are good for 7 days. Our video are not intended to be streamed - you should download the video to your hard drive and watch it as much as you want for as long as you keep the file.
How long are the Videos?
Each video description provides the length rounded to the nearest minute - usually 30 minuts to 1hr
How big are the files?
Because each video has a different length there is no standard size but no video will be under 300 Megabytes. Most are around 400 Megabytes but some of the longer cuts have gone up to 1000 Megabytes.
How do I order?
We now have a membershp system. Click on the Buy Videos tab and start shopping. When finished, checkout. You can pay via PayPal, Mastercard and Visa directly on the site. After you have purchased through us you can login to your account and it will show you all of the products you have purchases, allow you to directly add videos from that page and much more.
What formats are available?
The files are in WMV format. They are encoded in Windows Media 9.1.
How often are new releases planned?
We try to put a video up every week but it all depends on model availability.
Why only a few pictures on the website?
The pictures are there to give you a quick indication of what to expect from the videos. There are some people who will visit this site only for the pictures and never buy anything. That's fine. It cost quite a bit of money to produce these videos and we can't continue to get new material without sales. We hope that some people will buy our videos so we can continue to make more in the future. For those who want to purchase our videos, a few pictures is usually sufficient.
How do I contact you?
Please see our Contact page for all the details.
What styles will be offered?
Our Videos will cover a variety of shorter styles. They will range from chin-length to very short.
How old are the models?
The models vary in age from 18-34 years old.
Where are the models from?
All of our models are from Los Angeles or the San Fransisco Bay area.
Where were the cuts done?
The older videos were done in hair salons in California, however, the newer materials are also done in a private photography studio to highlight the haircutting as much as possible. All our done by professional stylists.
What is the quality of the Videos?
All Videos were shot with a digital camcorder. The material was transferred to a computer digitally for editing. I tried my best to get the best view and get as close as possible to the action and to capture the atmosphere. We are expanding to include 2 camera for every shoot so as to incorporate more angles and views of the haircutting.
I have a Mac, will the video play correctly?
Windows Media 9.1 files can act strange on Mac computers. They are not suppossed to play sound from 9.1 files but some
users report being able to play sound and video with no problems. We suggest either testing a WMV 9.1 file on your computer before buying one of ours or purchasing a DVD (coming very soon) instead. If you do have a problem please let us know and please make Macintosh aware of the problem as they need to hear the complaints so they can make OSX decode ALL widely used video formats error free - including WMV 9.1.
